// SALVAGE LOG

People think orbit is empty. Orbit is a junkyard doing seventeen thousand miles an hour, and every piece of it belonged to somebody who isn't coming back for it. Dead comms birds. Boosters. A weather satellite some agency threw a party for in 1994.

My contract says I blast it to pieces, scoop it up, and tow it to recycling. Nobody mentioned the salvage is hot enough to cook a sandwich through the hull. And nobody mentioned the Hunter Satellites at all. You'll find out about those on the job.

The pay clears. Most days that's enough. Watch the weight when you're towing a lot of garbage. The sixth piece is always the one that gets you.

Orbital Overhaul is a vector arcade game about cleaning up orbital debris. Shoot dead satellites into pieces small enough to tow, then haul them home on a chain that obeys physics instead of you. Inspired by Asteroids Deluxe, and by the fact that space junk is a real-world problem someone will eventually be paid to fix.
